Define acceleration

Construct and analyse a range of velocity time graphs

Questions:

1. Calculate the acceleration of the object between 0-4s.

$$acceleration=\frac{changeinvelocity}{changeintime}$$ $$a=\frac{8-0}{4}$$ $$a=\frac{8}{4}$$ $$a=2m/s$$

2. Calculate the total displacement of this object after 10s.

$$v=\frac{s}{t}$$ $$\frac{4+8}{}$$

Determine acceleration from a velocity-time graph

$$a=\frac{u-v}{t}$$ $$acceleration=\frac{finalacceleration-initialacceleration}{time}$$

Determine the acceleration of an object from data logging data

Use some computer simulations to analyse distance-time and velocity-time graphs
